For the last 15 years Ryan has had regular editorial assignments with a number of outlets to illustrate food stories and chef profiles. This experience led to collaborations with the earliest incarnation of the Infatuation with whom he worked with the leadership team producing some of their initial guide content; collecting images of meals, cocktails and locations, to populate their recommendation indexes as well as their specialized and targeted seasonal guides. Most lately with Vox Media, Ryan has helped document many of their special-events and activations curated by Eater capturing the look and feel of the temporary and ephemeral experiences for digital posterity.
