'The Deadpool' was shot on location footage on the deck of a modern day tugboat and among the ruins of a real life tugboat graveyard.

The Deadpool is a place in the New York City harbor where old boats go to die. tugs, ferries, scooners and the like all find their final resting place here. Nearly forgotten are the men and women who worked on the water for many years. This is their story. Featuring testimonials from retired Merchant Marine sailors an interview with a modern day tugboat captain and archival footage of the New York City working waterfront.
